Back with a quick status update. I hope this will be the last "misc" message in a while, so I can start uploading useful content again.

First of all, I hope everything's having a nice summer (or winter ;-)). I had my small share of holiday too, and expect to have another week of two during the next months.

Now to some interesting stuff. As you might have noticed we finally got the nessus feed up and running. It hasn't been easy, we faced tons of legal hurdles set by Tenable buried deep in their include files, so we have to rewrite stuff.

Jaime (Who hopefully will get some time to start/update his blog too) is doing an amazing Job on the feed, with others from the VRT doing some easier plugins as well as testing.
Besides getting the regular gentoo/debian updates out on a daily basis he's been working on a bunch of libraries for:

• ActiveX access
• Samba/file access (based on smbclient)
• WMI access (based on wmi-client)
• SCADA plugins

On the installer front we really want to get a new release done, mainly to fix some severe security issues which have been discovered during this last year and to include some new features currently being polished.
Our friends/partners at Conix (.fr) have developed both a web based directive editor as well as a reporting/compliance module which will be released to the public soon. Will update it asap.

Besides those news we're finishing online courses using Moodle. The first will be an ossim essentials one and I'm really happy about how it's looking:
