We're proud to announce the immediate availability of our Free plugin feed. The process of creating it has been harder as expected, mainly due to the ton of legal hurdles we found inside the existing nessus plugin libraries

Right now this first feed released includes all the Debian and Gentoo advisories, some windows vulns, some remote ones and a bunch of ActiveX checks. Our next efforts will be to continue this, as well as write libs for new operating systems (Solaris, BSD, MacosX will be our next focus). Finally all the microsft SMB and registry accessing code has to be rewritten from scratch, and will be released on succesive feed updates.
