AlienVault has responded to this concern in a number of ways including comprehensive support, training and certification, version maintenance and updates, documentation, and of course a superior product. To this end, we have created a program that extends the services mentioned above to each of these AlienVault Partners according to their needs. AlienVault partners have a privileged position in the rapidly growing community of OSSIM users, as they protagonize new and innovative implementations of the solution, share new plug-ins with the community and develop a reputation among the thousands of users as experts in management and monitoring of logs and security events.
The AlienVault partner program is built on four pillars: Training, Sales, Technical Support and Marketing, and provides many benefits and tools to certified partners.

Only official partners may rely on direct access to support from AlienVault, provide certified training, and 2nd line AlienVault support to their clients.

Official partners will be recognized on the AlienVault website, as will their contributions to the community.

AlienVault provides official partners with extremely aggressive discounts on the commercial open source solutions.
- Lead generation and opportunity protection
Thousands of downloads each month are quickly converted into leads and passed on to our official partners. The leads are then registered for account protection and follow-up.
- Certified services
Many users rely on official AlienVault partners for their managed services, 24/7 monitoring and support. AlienVault certifies and recognizes these services.
- Access to marketing materials and MDF (Market Development Funds)
