Exporting Configuration Issues

You can export configuration issuesAn identified configuration of software that is deployed, or features of software that is in use, which is known to be insecure. to a CSV or HTML file for later analysis.

To export configuration issues

  1. Go to Environment > Configuration Issues.
  2. Use filters if you want to limit the number of configuration issues to export. For assistance, see Searching Configuration Issues.
  3. In the upper right corner of the page, click Generate Report.
  4. The Create Report popup window and the applied current filters display.

  5. Enter a report name.
  6. (Optional.) Enter a report description.
  7. Choose a date range. You can select a predefined range between Last Hour, Last 24 Hours, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, or Last 90 Days. You can also set your own date range by clicking the icon.
  8. Choose the export format: CSV or HTML.
    • If you choose CSV, your browser downloads the exported file automatically.
    • Note: AdBlock blocks the download of CSV reports. To avoid this, you need to add the URL of your USM Anywhere Control Node as an exception in AdBlock.

    • If you choose HTML, your browser opens a new tab, displaying the report. You can print it by clicking Print, or save it as PDF.
  9. Choose the number of records to export.
  10. If you have chosen the HTML format, you will see the Graphs section. Use this section to include additional views. You can select or remove the graphs you want to include in the report by clicking the icon and the icon.
  11. Select Save Report if you want to keep your reports. You can see the export reports through the option Reports > My Reports. See My Reports on USM Anywhere for more information.
  12. Note: If you have chosen CSV format and 50K, the checkbox will be always checked and disabled. In this case, you can not change this option.

  13. Click Generate Report.
    • If you have chosen the CVS export format, your browser downloads the exported file automatically.
    • If you have chosen the HTML export format, your browser opens a new tab containing the report. You can print it by clicking Print, or save it as PDF.
  14. Note: If you have checked Save Report, you can see the export reports through the option Reports > My Reports. See My Reports on USM Anywhere for more information.
