Haven't seen OTX updates since 11/22. Has anyone else been experiencing this? Can verify by running ll /var/log/alienvault/update/

Thanks,

    Hello @travis,

       "ERROR_UPDATE_IGB_PFRING" is indicative of 'datadog-agent'. If you have not already done so, please try updating your USM//OSSIM to 5.5.0.

      If you are unable to update because of the "ERROR_UPDATE_IGB_PFRING" error, please issue ::

    # apt-get remove datadog-agent; /etc/init.d/datadog-agent stop; update-rc.d -f datadog-agent remove ; sed -i -e '/^[[:blank:]]*deb.*$/ s/^[[:blank:]]*/#/g' /etc/apt/sources.list.d/datadog.list ; echo "datadog-agent hold" | dpkg --set-selections

       And then issue an update ::

    # alienvault-update

       @zparker,

       Please #jailbreak your USM//OSSIM ::

    # cd /var/lib/redis/; rm -rf appendonly-otx.aof dump-otx.rdb ; alienvault-reconfig; alienvault-update --feed

       Regards,

  • Daily updates not working rather than OTX.
  • Same issue here.  I don't use the automatic feature, but manually install upgrades/updates as available.

    Started failing on 11/22/2017 with message "ERROR_UPDATE_IGB_PFRING"

    Same error for all subsequent update attempts.

  • My OTX threat intel is updating now. It didn't for a week or so back in November. I'll note those steps for future reference. Thanks!
