  • you can do with nagios (use the nrpre plugins)

With munin you can get graphs by day, week, month, year for Disk space, Cpu, etc.  Also you can set warning and criticals labels for generate alarms. That for local or remotes machines, is it posible with nagios?

Thats why i miss the munin funtions

  • it's possible to supervise the disk and cpu  but we can't show a graph ,only the status of service and the statistque like 80% of disque used
  • That is good, but seems better the MUNIN option, it worked fine in the OSSIM 3 version, just going to http://IP_OF_THE_OSSIM/munin/.

Installing the munin-node-win32 agent at the Windows servers and setting the name,ip in the /etc/munin/munin.conf.include in the OSSIM you get the graph i show...even the temperature of the remote server

In version 4 the munin server seems been active in OSSIM  but i cant find it in http://IP_OF_THE_OSSIM/munin/.
  • Actually, http://ip_of_ossim/munin works for me in version 4. I never knew that was available. Thanks for the tip.

  • In my case the difference was in the /etc/apache2/conf.d/munin file

In that file i changed /var/cache/munin/www for /var/www/munin/

    after that, do /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

    and http://ip_of_ossim/munin now works

    Regards
